48. I want to see news and expert opinions from elsewhere, curated by DUers, because I can't keep up

Wednesday

with all the news and opinion pieces that are published, so I count mostly on DU and on people and news sites I follow on Bluesky to collect the most interesting stories.

I watch very little TV and no longer have cable, so I like DU threads about anything of particular interest to liberals that aired on cable - and I'll post Bluesky messages from Aaron Rupar, Acyn, Ron.Filipkowski and others posting cable news clips when it looks like something other DUers would be interested in.

I'm interested in DUers' reactions to news and will usually skim replies, and will look at OPs that are just someone posting an opinion or venting. But I don't feel any need for DUers posting OPs about news stories, videos, etc., to add their personal opinion on what they posted, for the simple reason that everyone posting here is supposed to be liberal and I expect whoever posted to have a fairly typical liberal take, UNLESS they post something different.
