I'm always amazed when people (including my spouse just yesterday) said she couldn't vote in the primary because she wasn't registered to a party (and there were no issues on the ballot). No such thing as party registration in Ohio (and apparently Indiana is the same). Just pick the party ballot you want to vote when you sign in at the desk.
