My first job after the Army was night auditing in a hotel in Fayetteville, NC. The General Manager was a gentleman named Bahrant Jariwala. He used the name "Bill Jariwala."

One day I asked him, why does he use "Bill?" He told me no one in America could pronounce Bahrant but Bill was easy.
