... I'll bet fat bank that's exactly what he said. Certain single-syllable words are unmistakable even if you can only see them being uttered. And, given Fatty McPsychopants' blatant misogyny and total lack of temperance, I think we can be pretty damned sure that he called her a bitch.
What an absolute disgrace to humanity.
