Admiral Fagan was fired by then acting Homeland Security Secretary Benjamine Huffman four days before he was replaced. Reasons cited included a scandal that occurred under her predecessor and her DEI policies. She also briefed Congress on sexual assault investigations that her predecessors had kept quiet so I guess that counts as DEI.
