Since to most, or at least to me, this "deal" was based on an impossible premise, even before it began, is this all a big ruse? Or is he genuinely trapped in a roach motel (like his crappy properties), with no way out?

My eyes visualize Putin and Trump simultaneously crashing, with the subsequent or concurrent release of those "Special Videos" of "Unca Donald" videos. The "Epstein Class" seems to have a penchant for ceremony. Think "black mass" (1) , Bohemian Club, Thiel's "Dialog Club and dating agency", "Eyes Wide Shut" by Kubrick ... so my wild guess is that Unc's junior orgies were somewhat scripted.
