5. Will there be anything salvagable

I start from the assumption that one way or another, someday we will reclaim democracy in this country. Hopefully soon.

But I wonder if there will be anything salvageable.

ICE and the ballroom will HAVE to be torn down and their functions rebuilt from scratch. Both are corrupt to the core. If the ballroom actually appears, nothing that goes through that section of the white house can be trusted to be free of Russian and other countries spyware, hard embedded into the concrete and not removable.

It seems almost certain that the Secret service will have to be gutted and rebuilt. The people that helped trump with his publicity stunts are not people that can be trusted with the safety of anyone. The reflecting pool seems likely to need extensive repairs after all of this.

But.. The IRS. the FBI. The CIA. The social security department.

What will be left that is salvageable, and will we elect people with the intestinal fortitude to take on the hard tasks of building new and getting rid of the institutions and things that are too degraded or corrupted to be fixed?
