because even the suggestion that Israel is harming innocent people will bring cries of anitsemitism to anyone or any government that suggests that Israel is not the arbiter of who deserves to live and who does not.

Palestinians, Lebanese, Iranian (and other) people....they fall into Netanyahu's (along with his right wing allies) "don't deserve to live" category. They cover for it by declaring everyone who they are bombing a terrorist.

And yet, when someone is bombing your country, fighting back tends to be a standard response.
