than they get. They wrote skits and worked together in Cleveland (Ernie Anderson was Ghoulardi) and later moved to LA. Every Cleveland kid who grew up watching Ghoulardi would recognize the influence. Doug Kenney, Jim Jarmusch, Devo, Drew Carey, Arsenio Hall.

BTW, the warped humor in Paul Anderson’s movies has an even more direct influence - his dad is Ernie Anderson whose lifelong friend was Tim Conway.
