Facebook illegally provided Cambridge Analytica with private user information. CA used it to micro-target political ads in key electoral college areas. It was enough to swing the election.

Facebook/Zuck was charged, tried, and convicted. He got a dazzling fine of ~30k. Then made billions from Trump. Quite a ROI. This is why I despise all things zuck/meta/facebook. He gifted us our long national nightmare, more than any other single person. He hurt us worse than Putin.

Musk did something similar in '24. I was too depressed to follow election news, so I don't know details. But it looks like Mucks is set to be our despot, with rodeo clowns in the White House and Congress to distract our attention from him.
