7. I think it starts with the man in the mirror. Recognizing how one's views, choices, and action center or perpetuate it.

Our society commoditizes humans, placing value or worth upon how well a person improves the bottom line for the faceless power structures. It values profit over community, exploits resources for monetary extraction over sustainability of our species. It "others" the locals as obstacles to that extraction.

We have to recognize where we participate in this system and find ways to choose community, to not seek the attention of, or the approval of, or break bread with bigots.

We are seen as consumers, and the economy is based on what we earn and what we spend.

This regime recognizes that community defeats them, that care for each other, outside of what profits us personally, is anathema to their exploitation. It is why their agents are using strategies that undermine trust in each other. It's why they go after BLM, turn antifa into leftist cartel, raid anti-ICE observers and organizers, defund planned parenthood, SNAP, health, science, environment, etc.

We choose comfort over conscience, stuff over sustenance. We turn those living in harmony with their environment into beggars and thieves in the streets of the emerald cities.

To counter, we have to lead by example, with faith and hope. Minute by minute, day by day. It's the only way.
