1. You only need a minimal, a modicum of mental capacity to sign a will and/or a codicil.
2. If Ivanka takes out her father, the new document is on his desk within hours. Not only disinheritance, but the humiliation. Brothers get her share of the "pie".
3. You can be mentally incompetent and still have sufficiently legal mental acuity to sign testamentary documents. A lesser standard than for a legally enforceable contract.
4. Ivanka understands which side the bread is buttered.
