Trump relished the comparison to Napoleon, Attile the Hun, Stalin, and Hitler... [View all]

...and all the tyrants of history. He liked how they used fear to gain and maintain power.

According to the latest bestseller by Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan, Trump showed them a quote that was written by a caddy.

He liked the idea that he was more than "nationwide", like the other tyrants. He was international. He was more powerful than all of them, he noted from the quote.

It wasn't the idea that he liked being powerful for doing something great or helping to make the world a better place. He liked the idea of power for power's sake and using fear as a tool to maintain power.

It really shows what a sick and dangerous tyrant we are dealing with. It was a great mistake of the Republicans to try and humanize the guy. He has no human qualities of any worth.
