So, you are being told to seek therapy, to ignore what's happening, to take a walk, that its all in your head, to "think positive"...

I'm going to give you a different response. You're not imagining it, it's not all in your head. Therapy won't change what's happening. Ignoring it won't change it. Taking a walk won't change it. Take a walk if you like, but taking walks doesn't stop fascism. "Thinking positive?" Would people be giving you that advice if a hurricane were bearing down on you? Would "thinking positive" do anything to stop the hurricane or to prepare you for it? No.

Your response to what is happening is completely rational.

People are afraid, they are in denial and they don't want to face what's happening. Don't let them talk you out of your quite accurate take.
