69. Same damn script over and over again

with some minor changes. I watched an old campaign ad of Senator Charles Percy from the 1960s or 1970s and it was the SAME spiel and people are still buying it today.

Yes, it is like a movie franchise and people don't realize they're just getting more of the exact same thing, though in the end, they usually get nothing. Then they turn around and fall for it again with another candidate.
