28. Musings on Brothers in Arm-Nixon and Trump

When former FL, Senator, and SofSt Clinton recently commented on the puke party-(Clinton says Today's GOP Would Never Have Stopped Nixon. They'd Have Enabled Him. ) She, (a more than worthy competent, respectable woman well-suited for the Presidency) was affirming the obvious sentiment regarding the complicit, traitorous puke party.

Some have disagreed of my assessment regarding whether Nixon in my scenario of a hereafter, fictional pact with the devil is valid. “Make sure you put in place a guy that can finish the job and a party that has the traitorous backbone. Those other wimps failed me.” They fail to acknowledge his vengeful view of political enemies from the left he countered all his life from Eisenhower until his death in 1994. I maintain that Nixon’s abbreviated second term was the only reason his political machine crimes of WG put the brakes on further malfeasances, crimes and misdemeanors (imperial presidency tendencies) coming down the pike.

Certainly in contrast to dtrump’s litany of lawlessness and mental illness Tricky Dick looks benign in contrast. He indeed was a paranoid Cold War/communist antagonist of that era. I’m still convinced nonetheless, in that very long year in ‘73 -74, while the nation heard the taped conversations unfolding, exposing the flawed man for what he was- Nixon considered his party weak (wimpish). In his twisted mind (like dtrump) the press was always out to destroy him, so all party loyalists to the cause against the left (as he, a Navy man the idiom goes-“All hands on deck.”)

Given what powers given more each day by the USSC to the Executive and permissibly handed over to him by The H&S-Nixon Presidency would have welcomed this newfound, libertarian endorsement. His exposed coverups and lies in WG were predictive of what crimes he felt entitled to and only limited by a party still adverse to the public’s outrage.
