No, creating the DU postable pics wasn't a pain at all. The only one that was more work than the basic was the first one that I decided to rotate and didn't know how right away.
You can post any of these simply by right-clicking on a picture. Up should pop up a little menu with choices, including "Copy Image" and "Copy Image Link"
Click on "[n]Copy Image Link" (NOT on "Copy Image" )
That will put the link in your system's clipboard for later pasting.
Then in any DU post that you are creating or editing, put the mouse in the spot you want to put the picture, and do Control V (or right click and choose "Paste" ).
The above is how I do it on a regular Windows 10 desktop computer. I've never done a tablet and I've never tried to do any of this on my phone.
The same right-click copy image link trick works on any picture you see on DU no matter how it was posted (not just Imgur posts).
Alternatively, you can also use the links below each picture - just copy and paste them (one at a time) and the pictures will be displayed.
The "Notes to myself" part in my post above was just to myself in case anyone asked how I did it. Or to myself in the case of the first image which I didn't know how to rotate until I figured it out, and then I didn't do a very good job because it has a lot of white space below with the funny green arrow in the lower right. And it was to inform myself that I didn't find any way to do it more directly, without using the Windows snipping tool.
I will bold-face the "Notes to myself" part and add an explanation that it's not at all a "how to" recipe for doing it.
Anyway, I knew the "notes to myself" would not be meaningful to most people unless they had experience with Imgur. And only somewhat understandable to people using other posting services. Some people use other posting services, like imgBB, postImg, and many others. Some people use tools other than the Windows Snipping Tool.
