36. I remember Reagan, and Trump is no Reagan ...

Reagan was an extremely talented conman, and he actually was bright and sophisticated (unlike Trump who has always been sort of slimy). Unfortunately, Reagan is also the one who really invited religion into the political sphere in a big way with Jerry Falwell’s "Moral Majority." It's been downhill since then. And it probably started earlier than that, but this is what has really stood out to me in my lifetime.
