First off it will be a colossal waste of money.

More importantly, once that info is determined, the athlete loses all control over it. And if test results come as a shock, what counseling will be made available? Will the athlete now have a preexisting condition, just in time for the likely changes in health insurance law?

Come to think of it, the majority of the group that is "caught" won't be trans people -- it will be intersex people. Are they included under the laws?
