Fluoride may be good for your teeth, but it's bad for the rest of your body. It interferes with proper function of the Thyroid gland, and can result in a weakened immune system.
Although some fluoride is needed in the body, putting in the drinking water can easily result in taking in too much of it, and creating a toxic effect.
I suggest using a fluoride toothpaste, and/or mouth wash instead.
I worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry for about 36 years, and knew several people in research who were well aware of the problems with putting it in your drinking water.
If your drinking water has fluoride, I suggest a filter to remove it from water for drinking and cooking.
