Now that the joy of an election win has been overtaken by the shock of the speed of disassembly of the government, some Republicans are starting to snap back. Trump and Musk are going too far and it could lead to a Democratic sweep if we are fortunate enough to see another election in 2 years. That has some members of the GOP sitting up and suddenly noticing how truly catastrophic a Trump presidency really will be.

My little seed of hope thinks maybe this will build to the point where they may remove him via Amendment 25. That puts Vance in place, but he can't hold the MAGA crowd; the spell will be broken. And the backlash to what 'almost' happened will propel Dems into power.
