(6,946 posts)43. Trump's problem is, and always has been is this:
He is an ideas man, comes up with an idea, declares it is good and will show everyone how bigly a genius he is.
Then he handballs his idea to underlings, and sits back.
It doesn't matter if the idea is unworkable, impractical or a total disaster, Trump will think it is good, and will say so, independent of reality.
Reality and self-appraisal don't get a look-in.
The word 'delusional' doesn't really cover it.
And whatever this is, it is infectious, people actually voted for him.
Hopefully the fever dreamers out there are recovering and seeing reality more clearly.
