that declared courtrooms to be ICE playgrounds?

Come on! Speak out against this.

Allowing ICE to take people into custody who are simply appearing in court as part of a civil matter, criminal matter, or a check in or adjudication of a case related to an asylum petition should be appalling to anyone who believes in the rule of law. Implicit in that belief is the principle that all incentives should be in favor of encouraging people to comply with the law. If you claim to believe in the rule of law but are in favor of forcing people into a catch 22 of following the law and appearing and risking being unlawfully sent to a foriegn prison for life or violating an appearance order, then I submit you really don't care about the rule of law.

Turning courthouses into ICE playgrounds is appalling. Period. I hope this case results in an injunction on the conduct.
