I'm still trying to keep a positive attitude and a thread of hope so I don't crash into complete despair like it's Danganronpa.

My one bright spot in this is Donald has a date that the plane is going to his "library" so he is aware that his term ends and knows when he needs to steal it from the next administration, even if it's JD Vance. It's difficult to worry about multiple things at the same time.
