In reply to the discussion: Melania Trump's Visa Questioned in Congressional Hearing [View all]BumRushDaShow

because she only in her 2nd term in office as a member of the House of Representatives, having been elected for the first time in 2022 and as such, hasn't even been "fully vested" in the Civil Service benefits afforded to federal employees and Congress (must be in a position for at least 5 years).
Alternately, AOC is starting her 4th term.
Like Maxwell Frost (first elected the same year), she is an excellent firebrand and "puts it where the goats can get it". But the "Ranking Member" position is also considering the experience that comes with "seniority".
The issue at hand though, is probably more with respect to too many "seniors" vs "seniority" and that perhaps needs to be resolved.

In her case, it would possibly be a little more accurate to refer to it as an Epstein Visa.

Clever snark from Crockett: "the first lady had none of those accolades under her belt."

I really admire Representative Crockett. She like AOC is a clear and direct thinker.

She may not have "accolades" under her belt, but she certainly has something there.

I like women but not that one. Shame about that house falling on her mother though.
