Julian McMahon, best known for starring in “Nip/Tuck” and “Charmed,” has died following a private battle with cancer. He was 56.
McMahon’s wife, Kelly McMahon, confirmed his death in a statement to Deadline. The Australian American star’s wife Kelly told the outlet Friday that McMahon died peacefully in Clearwater, Florida on July 2.
“With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer,” Kelly said in the statement.
Kelly, who tied the knot with the “CBS’ FBI: Most Wanted” actor in 2014, went on to tell the outlet that he was a man who “loved life.”
