I have a sibling that works, well worked at Ruidoso Downs horse racetrac. It won't open again this season. It was just getting ready to open for the season, and it along with most if not all of Paradise Canyon how been wiped clean for the second time in less than month. This is following the catastrophic forrest fire and floods last year that ravaged the same area of town. After the fires, the ground became hydrophobic so it can't absorb any water at all.
