4. Starmer Sides With Mette

There once was a fellow named Keir,
Who said, “Denmark’s allyship’s clear:
If Trump wants to take
What he simply can’t stake,
He’ll find us not wavering here.”

Said Mette, ice-cool in her stance,
“Greenland is not up for a dance.
No flags will be swapped,
No maps will be chopped—
Your empire can jog on, not advance.”

But Trump, with a conqueror’s grin,
Kept penciling borders in pen:
“If I want it, it’s mine—
That’s the end of the line,”
Said the voice in his head now and then.

Fresh off a strong-armed Caracas display,
He hinted, “This won’t be my last play.”
When might makes the rule,
And threats are the tool,
The globe gets a bit less okay.

From Canada’s north to Greenland’s ice,
His shopping list wasn’t concise:
Nato looked on,
Alarm bells rang strong—
“Allies,” it turns out, have a price.

So Starmer drew lines Trump won’t heed,
With words doing what tanks shouldn’t need:
When bullies annex
With ego and checks,
The rest have to stand—and indeed.
