Trump says he’s making Venezuela “rich and safe,” but the State Department is telling Americans to leave “immediately.” Armed militias are literally hunting people for evidence of U.S. citizenship. Is this what “liberation” looks like? It’s a total breakdown of order.

The administration decapitated a government without a single plan for what comes next, and now our own citizens are paying the price. House Democrats are right to demand answers: Was putting a target on every American’s back worth a few extra barrels for Exxon and Chevron? We’ve seen this movie before in 2003, and we know how it ends. When will we stop using our military as a concierge service for Big Oil?
