You can't suck up enough, comply enough, praise enough, work hard enough, lie enough, or even risk ruining their own reputations and careers by carrying out questionably legal deeds enough. Nothing will ever be enough - are you all getting that yet?? His loyalty is one sided and he will only back you up if it serves him. And when he has grown tired or bored with you - you are done. Not even a blip on his fading memory screen.
