There’s also the psychological message it sends, if we DO do something.

They must not be allowed to beat us because we thought it was useless to fight back. That’s exactly what they want and what they hope for. So much easier to get the opposition to give up without a fight. “No muss, no fuss.”

Well, NOPE!!! HELL NO!!! The LAST thing we should do is give up and hand them an unearned run. I’d rather shove that wishful misconception of theirs right back in their faces and down their throats!
