19. For some reason I was up and saw it live on my TV machine

It was a real crash and burn. I remember some place out west I think it was Purgatory Ski area
and they had a practice course for the U.S. Ski team for downhill skiing and the first 1/4 mile or so
had no turns and at the first turn there was a bunch of bales of straw between the ski slope and some
trees. I skied the course but at a much slower pace and not doing the straight down the mountain thing.

The best part of the Winter Olympics is the downhill events. Just to get into the starting gate takes
guts and you can see the skiers skate skiing the first couple of hundred feet to build up speed and then
they are on ice and snow spending a lot of time in the air as they are going 644 mph.
