all those visits that Graham made to MAL after Trump's failed coup were done on behalf of far right strategists to convince Trump that he still had a political leadership future.

After J6, Trump was in a depressed slump of victimhood over losing the election and the coup attempt. He would have stayed at MAL, fuming and occasionally spewing defensive venom to the media if Graham had not encouraged him to make a comeback.
