Actually, they don't make civilian ammunition at this plant. This is all strictly military stuff. The US Army is its sole customer. My mother worked at this plant in the late 1960s/early 70s, and we live about ten miles from it. They used to manufacture some heavier artillery stuff---we could stand at our living-room window at night and watch the tracers when they test-fired ammo.
