The US military and our defense contractors love big, technical weapons programs. The Ukraine war proves that the old rules don’t apply. We need a few less new aircraft carriers and other ships, a few less heavy armored vehicles and similar systems, and a lot more cheap drones, drone operating systems, and especially, drone defense systems. The Iran debacle proves the point.
