5. I think they spent that much in the first 3 weeks of the war.

I don't think they are taking into account the cost of restocking all our missiles and bombs, and repairing the damage to all our bases in the middle east. Not to mention the cost of maintaining all the ships and planes we've been using.
One thing the military certainly isn't counting is the cost of resupplying the everyday consumable items needed by the crews of our ships;. In fact, except for weapons, it doesn't look like they're resupplying them at all.
We came into this war at the decision of one man, without any planning or preparing for anything more than a two week war.
Now 2 months in, and with no end in sight, that lack of preparation has seriously damaged our nation's ability to defend itself, and Donnie Dumbass seems not to have any concern about what he has done.
I don't think he's able to comprehend the mess he's making, and Hegseth certainly isn't about to tell him.
