And a lot of the argument here focuses on permitting discovery to continue as to co-defendants when there is an unresolved question of immunity as to one co-defendant. That complexity is way beyond any taught as recently as 2022 (or any tested on the uniform bar exam).

On its face, at least, the brief isn't raging insanity. I haven't followed the rest of the case closely enough to be able to tell how much of it is mis-direction/misuse of case law.
