It's all Millennial-speak and I expect if the analogy used "Muhammad Ali" instead, it might have registered better to this fuddy duddy boomer forum (signed, a fuddy duddy tail-end boomer).

IOW, it's how they talk in social media due to the character limitations and need for a quick dramatic hit.

This process is COMPLETELY upended by the GenZs coming behind them however, who use Tiktok videos to present analogies rather than naming any specific person or thing.
