325mg is a standard dose for one regular tablet, 81mg is low dose for heart prevention. According to the directions on my bottle of aspirin, people age 12+ are to take 1-2 every four hours or 3 every six hours, not to exceed 12 tablets in a twenty four hour period. I seem to remember reading somewhere recently where trump claimed to take almost double that in a 24 hour period.
I usually take no more than two, maybe three, a day to help with joint pain.
