that's what has been been reported and explained in interviews by Craig Unger. He definitely got blackmail material, though probably not all of it. Probably he got the stuff from the FL mansion.

There's also Epstein's New Mexico ranch that was never even raided by the FBI.

There's SO MANY outstanding questions from this case and there seems to be a major cover-up still ongoing.
