1. Franco was not a fscist

Friday

Franco was a Catholc Nationalist and a monarchist.
There was a Fascist Party supporting him. But that Party did no run things.
He had the support of the Catholic Church, and some monarchist organztions.
He was succeded by Juan Carnlos who became King.
Franco sent the Blue Division to Russia. Other than that, he did not help Hitler.
Spain did not fight the Western allies.

Franco was a typical Caudillo.
