These so-called progressives who are winning by wide margins are not "to the left".

"Left" of what?

Think about it. If they are getting more votes, then, by definition, they are right in the CENTER of American attitudes, concerns, aspirations and wishes. It is the people LOSING the elections who are out of line with the people.

Seriously, how could it be any other way?
