(307 posts)79. My grandmother taught me how to make omelettes
about 65 years ago. Simple ingredients suit me best, so some shredded cheddar or Swiss is all I need.
The key, as far as I am concerned, is to beat the eggs far longer than they seem to need. Then beat them some more.

Similar, but over easy and on whole wheat toast! I also fix one for my cat, he loves the yolks & is a very picky eater.

Thank you Bluestocking. Yes that is a bummer. I like dippy eggs. but they are a no, no too.
