Anyone done their taxes yet? [View all]

I've used H&R Block programs for years and this year they changed their format. IMO, it wasn't as user friendly and past versions. So earlier this month I did my taxes, both federal and state, and as usual I set it aside to review later. I went into the hospital for two days with vertigo and I've been out for the last two weeks. Yesterday, I pulled up my tax return program, which was online, and reviewed it. When I originally completed it the program said there were no errors. This time it said I had some thing to review. It asked me for information I already entered and it was saying I owed almost twice the amount of taxes and when I first did it.

I decided to call the local H&R Block office and got an appointment that day. It took the tax preparer about 25 minutes to complete my returns. There was a big difference between what my original online program said I owed and what the preparer said I owed. The preparer saved me nearly $4,000 over what the online program said. Yeah, it cost me more to have the preparer do it over the online program but considering how much I saved it was well worth it.
