You're bad reactions to fragrances notwithstanding, these are levels that are well below levels of concern as established by experts in human health & Toxicology.
In addition, TSCA covers any chemical that has potential for adverse health effects, so it's hard for such things to fall through the cracks despite "garbage bags" being specifically regulated.
There is no real scientific basis for your concern, so superstition is an appropriate descriptor.
