I worked for a company for about 20 years that always paid us generous Christmas bonuses. It was acquired by a corporate behemoth- a name that nearly everyone knows- and when Christmas season came, despite earning literally more than a billion dollars a year, they informed us that they don’t give out Christmas bonuses. More for the corporate executives, I guess. Miserly bastards!
