I bought a poster and waited outside the theater and got four of the actors to sign it (didn't get Alan Alda or Jeffrey Tambor; they must have left earlier or later than the autograph seekers waiting outside). As soon as I got home, I had the poster framed. Paid $15.00 for the poster and $115 for framing - ha! I didn't mind. It's one of my most prized possessions.
Several years later, there was another revival of it on Broadway with Al Pacino playing Shelley Levine. Boy, would I have loved to see that one.
There are parts of that movie where the dialog is almost lyrical. I'm not a big fan of David Mamet, but he sure got this one right.
