of my mom and grandmother on the ship!! Very exciting..Growing up in western PA my mom did not speak english till she was five years old. My fathers fam was from Minsk in what is now Belarus. My grandfather Max got wind of his unit being sent to the Russo-Japanese meat grinder The family bailed out and went to Canada. Eventually they came down south to the Eastern US...
I would love to visit the Carpathian mountains. They look lovely.
I watched a vid where Ukraine sends troops to the mountains to decompress from the effects
of this horrible war...
