The TV show Person of Interest was on 2011-16 & was a/b mass surveillance & AI [View all]
Nathan Ingram the blonde good looking guy was one of the 2 creators of The Machine which did do mass surveillance to find potential terrorists post 9/11 in the TV show.
It was programed as a black box, so that no human could adjust it's programing for any governments' benefit.
I wonder if this premise impacted Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei
