The missing option is what happened.

Is your clock one of the digital ones that automatically sets itself on daylight saving time?

If it is, it got to 2 a.m., sprang forward to 3 a.m.., and because it never was 2:30 a.m., the alarm never rang. However, it might have rung the next time it was 2:30 a.m., during the wee hours Monday.

If your clock is one of the old-fashioned spring-driven wind-up clocks, the alarm rang at 2:30 a.m. standard time. It had to be "sprung forward" to daylight time manually.
